Debit Cards

Your new Tri Counties Bank debit card will arrive after March 16, 2022 — before the transition. Follow the instructions provided with the card to activate it. You can activate and start using your new Tri Counties Bank debit card after 7 PM, Friday, March 25. Once your new Tri Counties Bank debit card is activated, your Valley Republic Bank debit card will be deactivated immediately. All Valley Republic Bank debit cards will stop working the morning of Monday, March 28. Then, use your new Tri Counties Bank debit card wherever Visa® is accepted.

Foreign ATM Fee Reversals

Tri Counties Bank will reverse any Foreign ATM fees assessed by Tri Counties Bank or by the operator of the ATM, to our Valley Republic Bank customers using their new Tri Counties Bank debit cards, the day after the Foreign ATM fee is incurred.

This Foreign ATM fee surcharge reversal will remain in effect until Tri Counties Bank has completed the installation of our ATMs at all former Valley Republic Bank locations. Installation of our ATMs is expected to take place between April 26 and April 29, 2022.

Once Tri Counties Bank ATMs have been installed at all former Valley Republic Bank locations, the Foreign ATM fee reversals will end and fees will be assessed as disclosed on the Consumer and Business Fee Schedules, which you have also received in recent communications. You may use a Tri Counties Bank ATM or any ATM in the MoneyPass® network to avoid a Foreign ATM fee surcharge. Visit to find MoneyPass® ATMs near you.
