How does ICS work?
Tri Counties Bank is a member of the IntraFi network. When we place your deposit through ICS, that deposit is divided into amounts up to the standard FDIC insurance maximum of $250,000, then placed into deposit accounts at other FDIC-insured banks. As a result, you can access FDIC coverage from many institutions while working directly only with Tri Counties Bank.
Minimum Deposits
- The minimum opening deposit is $100,000.
- You must have a minimum of $250,000 on deposit with Tri Counties Bank and a minimum aggregate balance in ICS® of $100,000 to be eligible for reinvestment.
Limits Apply
Funds may be submitted for placement only after a depositor enters into a ICS® Deposit Placement Agreement with Tri Counties Bank. The agreement contains important information and conditions regarding the placement of funds by Tri Counties Bank.
If a depositor is subject to restrictions with respect to the placement of funds in a depository institution, it is the responsibility of the depositor to determine whether the placement of the depositor's funds through ICS or a particular ICS transaction satisfies those restrictions.
