A message from Rick Smith, Tri Counties Bank President and C.E.O.

Dear Valued Customers,

As Coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns continue to escalate, I wanted to communicate actions that Tri Counties Bank is taking to protect our customers, employees and communities. Let me be clear: our bank will remain open throughout this crisis.

Today, we provide many ways to bank with us using both physical branches and electronic and telephone channels. Of course, due to our need to maintain social distance from one another, we ask that you use our online, mobile and telephone solutions whenever possible. At Tri Counties Bank, it is easy to obtain cash, deposit checks, transfer funds between accounts, pay bills, draw from lines of credit and make other routine transactions without the need to enter a bank branch. However, if you prefer taking those actions in person, we continue to keep branches open for you.

We are also modifying our branches to keep our customers and employees as safe as possible. We’ll reduce weekend branch hours to give our hardworking team members the opportunity to take care of themselves and their loved ones. We may reduce open hours during the week in selected branches as this crisis continues. While we understand that this may inconvenience some customers who bank with us early in the morning or later in the day, we ask for your patience. We believe these steps are necessary to keep you and our bankers safe and energized during this difficult period. We may, depending on conditions on the ground, need to temporarily close a branch. If we must temporarily close a branch, know that our bank will continue to operate normally.

To ensure you have the most up-to-date branch information prior to leaving your house, please visit our website at www.tcbk.com/coronavirus and click on “Branch Service Updates”. These pages will alert you to any temporary changes in branch operations as well as available drive-through and ATM options.

If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, including fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, or other symptoms, we request that you do not enter the lobby but instead use the drive through service, ATM or any of our digital banking tools to conduct your banking.

While conditions remain very fluid, we are evaluating other ways to ensure our customers that we will continue our high standards of customer service. Person-to-person appointments are available in branches, similar to how we already work with our commercial customers. We continue to evaluate additional ways to best serve you over the next several weeks.

We also understand the physical, emotional and economic price everyone is now paying as a result of this virus. I want you to know that as far as your banking is concerned, your money is in the right place. Tri Counties Bank is well-capitalized, FDIC-insured and we are here to help. These are unprecedented times but together we will overcome this great challenge.

I hope this note helps you to understand our actions and efforts to best serve you. Please take care of yourselves!
